During her rehab stay at Life Care Center of Hixson, Tennessee, Patricia Cole wrote a poem about the facility. We have shared it below with her permission.

“Life Care Center of Hixson” by Patricia Cole

Life Care Center of Hixson, Tennessee –

It’s the most beautiful place you could ever see.

They have gardens and fountains and flowers abound.

They have bushes with berries and birds flying all around.

Hummingbird feeders are also on the grounds,

Oh, and the staff they really care,

Which means so much while you are there!

The kitchen feeds us with delicious food.

Where can you find that in a hospital mood?

They are friendly and aim to please.

They go above and beyond with great ease.

And Physical Therapy gets us back on our feet,

The most wonderful people you would ever want to meet.

The housecleaning department keeps everything clean and swell,

And that is so important to me to get well.

The activity department they have is so much fun and keeps us busy every day,

Which helps us stay happy along the way.

All and all, if you have been here you see

It’s Life Care Center of Hixson, TN, for me!
